A Little Bit About Me
Have been described as funny, quirky, scatty (frequently losing cups of tea around the house), can be very serious (but not for too long), like to return to something chilled out, thoughtful and dreamy, sometimes a little short and sharp (not unnecessarily though!), polite and well spoken.
I come from an idiosyncratic, strong, dignified, and clever family who continuously inspire me (and leave me in fits of laughter with their distinctive and peculiar tendencies!)
I have many acquaintances to make passing chit chat to and a exclusive gang of people I call actual friends who bring me back to rational consciousness in my moments of insanity.
In my darker moments I can become insanely curious, and have a drive to know what makes us who we are, psychologically……philosophically.
One of the most satisfying things about life for me is exploration, of people’s thoughts & experiences, and of course of places, I love hearing about the history of a place, observing different cultures, or simply enjoying the atmosphere.
I believe in being compassionate and making a difference and am a big believer in charity, especially those to do with children.
I believe in our beautiful religion, especially valuing the ethics regarding the way in which people should be treated.
My musical taste is diverse, possibly reflective of my personality in some way, from alternative, to classical, recently an appreciation of old Indian, jazz, chilled out music you'd listen to on a hot summers day. If I was to choose one style right now I’d say classical……conservative yet passionate, possibly a little restrained, and melancholy.
I’d like to say I’m not one of those that are obsessed with appearance, but I do have a secret stash of the latest beauty magazines!!!
I’m happy to throw-on a pair of boots or flip flops and walk for miles in the country or on a deserted beach, but I’m also very happy putting on a pair of heels and discussing the best way to put on kajal with a girlfriend! Not with you hopefully because that will be disturbing.
I can be serious and mature and with depth, but with a little carefree girl inside me who is anxious to explore the world around me. Yes love the idea of traveling the globe, as does every other person on this site!!!
